RWAs demand a structural audit of Delhi-NCR high-rises

The audit must be repeated under the session every five years as mentioned by the RWA umbrella with their demand raised under these circumstances, in the letter which they send to the Union Minister. A copy of the same letter was sent by the RWA umbrella body to the offices of the higher Prime Minister and Chief Minister of Haryana and Delhi and also to the Chief Secretaries of the respective state. The letter shot on Friday by Hardeep Singh Puri the Union urban development minister stated that since NCR comes under seismic zone 4, which is a high-damage risk zone, the government should take all required amendments in the Central Building Rules and make structural audits mandatory before possessions in all the buildings.
