MHADA Sweep 2023: Near to 1 lakh applications for 4,000-plus homes in Mumbai

The count where more of 25 entrants for each flat in the year 2023 Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) sweepstake of around 4,000 mostly modest houses in the region of Mumbai real estate sector. The range of price of the apartment begins at Rs 24 lakh from the initial.

As per to formal data, the count of allover entrants has slouched nearly to the 1 lakh greater than for the 4,000 plus MHADA sweep houses for sale in many places besides location of Mumbai.

As from the sweep which was declared on May 21, MHADA has agreed more than 99,000 entrants at the time, and at the final date to entry for the same was is September 10.

More as nearly 99,000 entrants, greater than 73,000 entrants have given their settlement earlier as earnest money deposit (EMD) for the apartments.

More as, 94 percent of the houses are added on sale besides Mumbai real estate market by MHADA are for the categories of the people who are specified by the section like as Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and the Lower Income Group (LIG) with the rest earmarked for the Middle Income (MIG) and High-Income Group (HIG).

More the count of 4,000 houses up for seize, 2,7890 are for the EWS, 1,027 are for the LIG section, and some count for MIG and and remaining are for the HIG section peoples.

Including, 1,950 flats in the EWS sections are known to be sold below the flagship Pradhan Mantri Aawas Yojana (PMAY).

Location of the Flats

The flats which are  are given to the categories are widely located around the areas which include as Malad, Vikhroli, Antop Hill, Goregaon, Sion, Dadar, Wadala, Andheri, Kandivali, Byculla, Tardeo, Juhu, Chembur, and Powai.

As per to MHADA formal statement, in the upcoming two years, the directory will estimate more flats such as for the MIG and HIG sections, which are now known to be on stage of processing.
